Mackenzie McCool, PE

Mackenzie McCool is a licensed Professional Engineer with Orsborn Design Group.

She loves the small, family-style atmosphere at ODG, especially because she gets to see projects through to completion, instead of working on just one component. This approach allows her to see the end result of a client’s original vision.

In high school, Mackenzie was state champion in land judging, which involves soil science and management. She graduated from NC State with a degree in civil engineering in just 3.5 years. Her experience includes site design and land development projects including parking lots, roads, and ensuring safety, cost, and code standards are met. 

Mackenzie lives with her daughter and their two cats, Kylo and Stayci.
