This site is well-recognized for our approach with an innovative and creative stormwater management system for an incredibly flat site. This was a unique opportunity as a result of a shallow stormwater detention pond. With one very flat side with very little relief to discharge water, our team chose to drain the site to a basin, treat it through the sand filter and move it out of the site. Very little grade change was necessary. Additional work on the site allowed us to preserve 35% of the site’s trees.
